The Community Arts Caucus (CAC) invites NAEA conference attendees to apply for our annual Community Arts Caucus Award. This award supports attendance, travel, or accommodations to the 2025 NAEA convention in Louisville, KY. This award does not require that the applicant is presenting at the NAEA convention. However, we will take into account if this is your first time attending and/or if your presentation is sponsored by the CAC—which means it was submitted for review under the CAC when you selected division/issue group in the online submission. Each applicant will also be required to describe their community arts practice (direct involvement in teaching or programming). One applicant will be selected for an award in the amount of $500. Awards will be received as reimbursement by a check payable directly to the applicant after the 2025 convention.

The recipient will be recognized during the 2025 All Interest Group Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 21st, from 12:00 to 2:00 EST and will be invited to share their community arts practice (which may include direct involvement in teaching or programming) during the Community Arts Caucus Award Ceremony, Roundtable, and Community-Led Conversations on Thursday, March 20th, from 2:00 to 2:50 EST.
